CEOC International has published a new 2012 / 2013 Annual Report providing an overview of some of the major trends and developments in the global testing, inspection and certification (TIC) service sector and the related activities of CEOC International.
Globally there has been an increased political interest in — and public concern about — the safety of consumer products and technical installations, after some safety related incidents occurred.
The Product Safety and Market Surveillance Package, proposed in February by the European Commission, aim to simplify and harmonise the non-food product safety rules and streamline the market surveillance procedures.
The role of the independent 3rd party is in these processes under discussion at national as well as international level and therefore the independent TIC service sector needs a strong united voice to promote their joint interests towards international institutions and organisations all over the world.
CEOC International together with our partner organisations will be involved in the political and technical debates and, as such contributing to a safer society in an uncertain world.
